Hai guys. I happen to be the organizer of this. If any locals see this and decide to join up and turn out, cool. But if you get a hold of the specific location/address, please keep it away from mass public view. (We’re not always in the same place, btw, although we do revisit places we like.) Feel free to promote, but preferably just by sending the link to the meetup/event page, and in places where you have some control over who is seeing what. #otherkin on tumblr is essentially no control at all over the broadcast, and I don’t really want the “ha ha u need medication ur not an elf” crowd or the likes of the scat porn and animal mutilation trolls to have easy access to the address of a place to find us in person.
And as ever for me, I am specially hoping to turn up elves, faery, sidhe, and similar types! you would think the bay area would be prime territory - after all it’s where the Elf Queen’s Daughters began way back in the day and the Silver Elves were not too far past the north bay for I dunno at least 15 years I guess before they moved to Hawaii a few years ago - but where we all are if we’re here, I haven’t yet been able to discover…
(Yeah, yeah. Whine, whine, whine, is that all I do? :P )
