Sometimes I get such Livejournal nostalgia but it’s all sad & echoey in there now. I’d support your movement though. It could be very retro chic.

Yes please! It’s so hard to interact on Tumblr the way that the LiveJournal platform enables. Or rather - since I, like many, have been annoyed with LJ’s business practices and how they treat their users for some years now - how about all y’all go retro-forward-chic and come to Dreamwidth instead.
Yeah, I just really don’t like any other site I’ve ever encountered geared towards otherkin/therians…
…really? All the web boards, LiveJournal/Dreamwidth communities, Ning/Lefora/other niche places, mailing lists…? (I confess I haven’t liked the Facebook groups I’ve looked at, but then I tend to hate Facebook in general.)
I’ve been on Tumblr since 2009 and I just keep getting more and more upset with it. They never make any substantial changes to the site that would make it better for the users. They just keep changing meaningless crap that annoys us and serves no purpose, and they don’t address any of the real problems with the platform or the community of users. It’s very frustrating!
Yeah, I — oh wait, thought you were talking about LiveJournal there for a sec. (FWIW LJ is pretty egregious about this as well.)
