Gah. Not the kind of schmoop I usually get into about child Severus, even though he’s the most adorabibble child evar and/yet I don’t think Benedict Clarke was at all a good choice for him. But this clip from the DH2 film makes me all wibbly. Like here I just hope you see the same magic in me let me show you we’re alike aren’t we aren’t we aren’t we you’re the first glimmer of light I’ve seen in a long time if not ever and wow I’ve been alone so long, since 8 years or something is a long long time to someone who’s 9 look this is what I am and what you are and it’s special we’re special and *bbawwwww* well yeah. Not a softness that goes over well in hardcore-oldskool Snape fandom, but then I am not truly one of them in the sense of being involved online before DH. Arg.
